The Korea Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) announced today that it has granted its third certification, and the first in the recruitment field, to Genesis Labs' ViewerHR v2.0 (hereinafter referred to as ViewerHR) product. This certification is a testament to the product's adherence to the highest standards of AI reliability, making ViewerHR a trusted solution for recruitment processes.

Last year, the TTA established the AI Reliability Information and Communication Organization Standard, a set of requirements designed to Enhance the reliability of AI systems. This standard, also known as the Organization Standard, has been the benchmark for evaluating compliance. Earlier this year, the TTA awarded the first and second certifications to MarkAni's SmartEye v1.0 product and Enflux's AI Convergence Mine Detection Module v1.0 product, respectively, demonstrating their adherence to these rigorous standards.

Genesis Labs' ViewinterHR is not just another AI video interview solution for recruitment. It's a unique product that combines a soft skills assessment, verification of communication skills suitable for the organization and job performance based on AI technology, and a behavioural event interview (BEI) method. This method analyzes high-performance job performance capabilities based on past behavioural examples to comprehensively analyze the interviewee's capabilities, supporting informed hiring decisions.

ViewerHR has successfully met all 15 certification requirements, a testament to the thoroughness of the process to ensure the trustworthiness of AI data, models, algorithms, and systems. These requirements include the organization's governance structure, appropriateness of data building, traceability of AI models and incidents, and interactions with users, as confirmed by the TTA. This comprehensive certification process should instill confidence in the audience about the reliability of ViewerHR.

In particular, earlier this year, the TTA published and distributed a guide to developing trustworthy AI for the recruitment sector. This guide serves as a roadmap for companies like Genesis Labs to ensure the trustworthiness of their AI products. The TTA also played a crucial role in the certification process, consulting on ensuring trustworthiness to prevent the misuse or abuse of products in the recruitment process, considering the risk of biased inference of products by interview candidates.

"Recently, the EU's AI Act was approved ('24.3.13.), and systems used for applicant analysis and interview evaluation in the recruitment field are classified as high-risk AI, which has highlighted the need for and importance of AI reliability," said TTA Chairman Son Seung-hyun. "In the future, TTA will strive to prepare an evaluation system and secure the qualification of an evaluation agency to meet the requirements of the rapidly changing global AI reliability trend, and will do its best to play the role of a professional test and certification body by helping Korean companies become competitive in global AI reliability."'
